We’ve got some awesome news everyone. And here in the blog we’ll give you the insider scoop. What’s new, what you should know and why the change?

This design has been under construction for the past 8 months. And it’s finally completed. Every aspect of the website, aside from the Billing and support sections have been revamped. We’ve even added a few new sections. Over the next few weeks we’ll be working on integrating the new design with our old pages. Which includes the forums, ipanel, and support suite ..this blog. Update: The Forums, iPanel, and Support Suite now have a matching design.

The design is a Web 2.0 design and we’ve taken the time to make sure it looks right in every browser. We wanted to make sure that no matter how you access our website, you get the same satisfying results. Our code is xhtml complaint and validates at w3. Unfortunately, some of the 3rd party scripts and services break this validation, but there’s no way around that..

So, what’s new to the site?

We’ve added some new pages to our website, which we think you should take a look at.
But first things first…

We know that everyone had a problem believing that our “testimonials” were “real”. Which, they are by the way! But just for those of you who doubted our honesty, we’re making an effort to otherwise find alternatives to managing testimonials. We’re also now offering a new service for new clients.

We’ve redesigned and added some new functionality to the hosting pages
Check out our new hosting pages (shared hosting for example). It’s been revamped with a great new layout and some really cool features we’ll think you’ll find both useful and amusing. See those little magnifying glass icons? Go ahead, click em’.. It pops up with some more information about just what we’re talking about. And the links on the right hand side of the page do the same thing. We’ve taken the time to write out little bits of extra information that we hope answer any quick questions you may have had.

PurgeHosting get’s an 866 number
That’s right, it’s official. We’ve been talking about getting this done for ..well, too long. And now it’s official. Our new 800 number is 866-522-2855. Calling it will with play a pre recorded greeting, and then some hold music. And it will ring either myself or one of the staff here at PurgeHosting. There’s a good chance you’ll actually get someone if you call our phone number now! Please don’t call it just to talk to us, we would appreciate if it was left for business related questions or comments only.

The Contact Us page get’s an overhaul
We realize that our last contact us page wasn’t very helpful. Well, it was.. but it wasn’t as helpful as it could have been, and is now. We’ve not got live support over the IM networks when available. Included AIM, YIM, MSN, and ICQ. Our Contact Us page also now helps clairify which email should go to which department. And we’ve added the ability to request that we call you! You can either click the 866 number at the top of the page, or from the Contact Us page, click “Request a Call”. View the Contact Us Page

The Documents are now PDF
Well, while we were at it, it sounded like a good idea to update all of our legal documents. So we did, and now you can access them in our Documentation / legal section of the new website. You can download them in the PDF profesional format. We went ahead and fixed those typos too.. oops. View the Documents
